My Client is looking for a network engineer with an in depth knowledge of Exchange and experience troubleshooting Active Directory. Knowledge and experience supporting Blackberry Enterprise Server is required. The position is 60-70% messaging support, 15-20% Active Directory and Windows infrastructure support (DHCP, WINS, DNS, etc.), and 10-25% other support and mentoring. The purpose of this position is: 1) To provide a dedicated support resource for our approximately 50 global messaging server infrastructure. 2) Initiate a much needed review of the performance of the Exchange servers. 3) Monitor and manage all domain controllers and Blackberry servers. Exchange server experience should include installation, monitoring, message tracing, system policies, mail store and mailbox recovery, SMTP troubleshooting, ESEUTIL, EXMERGE, QUEST Exchange tools and other utility experience, and clustering knowledge (both setup and support). Previous experience in a large environment (>1000 users) is not necessary, however, the candidate should not be intimidated by many users and large information stores. Good troubleshooting skills and methodology are essential. If the candidate has a well developed troubleshooting skill they can be trained to support any application or service. - Microsoft Exchange 2000/2007 advanced/expert knowledge
- Message flow troubleshooting knowledge
- Microsoft Active Directory 2000/2003 advanced knowledge
- Blackberry server intermediate knowledge
- HP hardware support (Approximately 300+ servers)
- An understanding of scripting logic
- Knowledge of batch scripting
- Windows Infrastructure support (DHCP, DNS, WINS, etc.)
- RSA Troubleshooting/Support Experience
- Email Antivirus, Anti-spam knowledge
- Domain management experience
- MS LMS experience
- Sharepoint
