This huge media organisation are looking for a user interface developers as a successful candidate you will be working on Internal Media / Video Applications - not website!
The Application / User Interface Developer will be a member of the development team which builds and maintains many of the mission-critical video production systems for a world class Broadcasting organization.
Sample projects include media asset management systems, digital video archives, and catalogue/search systems.
The Developer will work closely with other members of the development team through the full systems lifecycle including requirements capture, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Required Skills:
The Application / UI Developer will need to have experience with editing software such as: Final Cut Pro (which is a Macintosh software). This candidate will need to have experience developing plug-ins for Macintosh.
Previous exp. designing and building the user interface aspects of complex browser-based business applications.
Practical exp. designing intuitive interfaces to handle complex business workflow is a crucial.
Specifically this experience should be centred on open web standards including Object-Oriented JavaScript, CSS, and DHTML, and experience working in the Web 2.0 paradigm.
Solid user interface design experience including prototyping and user experience analysis.
2+ years of experience with JavaScript, DHTML, CSS, XML/XSL
